So reads the sign outside of The Wandering Inn, a small building run by a young woman named Erin Solstice. She serves pasta with sausage, blue fruit juice, and dead acid flies on request. And she comes from another world. Ours.

It's a bad day when Erin finds herself transported to a fantastical world and nearly gets eaten by a Dragon. She doesn't belong in a place where monster attacks are a fact of life, and where Humans are one species among many. But she must adapt to her new life. Or die.

In a dangerous world where magic is real and people can level up and gain classes, Erin Solstice must battle somewhat evil Goblins, deadly Rock Crabs, and hungry [Necromancers]. She is no warrior, no mage. Erin Solstice runs an inn. She's an [Innkeeper].

I enjoyed the notion and the backstory.

The narrator did a really good job. I liked her half elf especially. But some of the extras had indistinguishable voices, which made it harder especially since all the characters had nice own voices including different tempi. Almost as good as Rufus Beck. The voice acting was very good also with two bumps of emotional measurement.

The story is great and much like one I read just recently Fluchbrecher by Richard Schwartz

The wandering inn is serious high fantasy.
Come into another world and make a living figure out how to go back? Do I want to go back? Do I want to stay? What can I do? What should I do? What MUSTN'T I do.

I like the magic system that is only brushingly introduced, but I am looking forward to hearing the next of this.

The wandering inn story has currently more than 1000000 words. Exceeding The wheel of time. Are you up for an epic drama in gmhigh fantasy of these proportions?

I do think right now, I will wait for the next audio book or at least check out when it will be out. Before I start reading because I do want to know how it goes on.

Viele Stunden hörgenuss. Eine spannende Geschichte die viele Aspekte des Fantasy abdeckt, die von anderen nie bedacht werden. Gesprochen wird es auf eine geniale Weise. Man kann immer genau sagen um wen es sich handelt egal ob benannt oder nicht.
Es sind sicher mehr als 15 verschiedene Stimmen weiblich und männlich, die den Charakteren eigenes Leben einhauchen.

Let me start out by saying this isn't a high fantasy book about a orphaned boy destined to save the world from some great evil. It's a slice if life story told from the pov of two characters.
It's a great story but it won't be everyone's cup of tea. And yes, the main characters are a little annoying in the beginning and make some questionable choices but it does get better in the second half. It also progresses slowly, but that's to be expected, it is an adaptation of a web serial after all, and one that is known for its super long chapters.
All I really like the world Pirate Aba created here and combined with Parseau's talent for voice acting, this has easily become one of my favorites and I can't wait to listen to the other books.

The story is really nice and relatable because it’s basically about some humans from a world close to reality that stumble into a fantasy world. the way they react is pretty much what I’d imagine myself to do. The performance managed to differentiate multiple people which is really cool. Sometimes it’s a little too dramatic for my taste because even normal occurrences are read in a way that sounds like it’s a challenging or dangerous situation. I guess dialing that down a notch would improve the overall experience. But overall nice work!

Eine packende Geschichte, voller mitreißender und auch gefühlvoller Momente. Die schrägen Charaktere besitzen Tiefe, treffen zu ihnen passende Entscheidungen (auch wenn diese nicht immer klug sind) und man gewinnt sie sehr schnell gern.

Es ist eine Achterbahn der Gefühle.
Nicht nur einmal raste mein Puls, zerbrach mein Herz, schmunzelten meine Lippen, weinten meine Augen vor Lachen oder Schmerz und schrie meine Seele.

Die Sprecherin besitzt eine unglaubliche Bandbreite, sodass man zuerst nicht glauben mag, dass alles nur von einer einzelnen Person gesprochen ist. Zudem trifft sie die leisen, genauso auch die lauten Töne.

Dieses Hörbuch drang in jede Faser meines Körpers ein und wird noch lange nachhallen.. Wenn nicht sogar für immer.
