It’s pretty much what you expect from the description. A nice and cozy Story about fishing with side effects like being a heretic and inexplicably growing stronger together with some friends. If you’re looking for a relaxing story to listen to this might just be what you’re looking for. Narrator does an excellent and was a big reason for me to give the story a try.

A Cozy slice of Life Story

The Bad review seems to be a hater.
Story revolves arpund alot of fishing. Together with slice of Life and a deeper Story Plot.

Only Bad part was the Start. World richtest man fishs one time, gets isekaid and he decides to make that His Life Goal? Breaks the immersion for the First hours or so xD.


I enjoyed the funkyness of the Story. Even If its kinda DARK at Times.

A plus are the many well done Side Charakters. Not one felt unaturap.

This is just wholesome. If you feel down, this is the right audiobook to listen to. No idiot plots.

Fun, chill, easy to listen to Litrpg. I ve been grinning all through the story, if not laughing out loud. If I had to compare it with an other litrpg, I d go for the obvious “he who fights with monsters”. It’s the same speaker, same type of humor but way more relaxed. Perfect for fishing.

Loved the whole book. The characters are intresting and lovable and the story keeps you entertained for marvelous 23+hours

Prepare for a wholesome story without the lists of stats that are sometimes bogging down this genre. It's full of humour, banter and lovely characters. Not much is happening so far, but it's a joy to spend time with these folks.

Who likes „He who fights with Monsters“ will like this and sometimes forget that this isn’t Jason. Great Humor, adorable Characters and healthy conversations.

Nicely done, a good mix of ended up in a new world and causing the best kind of trouble. Nothing extremely new concept wise but very well written story.

A world-traveller story that does not need to hide from being compared to i.e. 'He who fights with monsters'. Equally gorgeously read, hm ... how might that be? We had finished part 1 and immediately proceeded with part 2 though there is some Boxy Morningwood pending. Thanks, mate! We love the Aussie guys going astray.
