We are able to follow a real group of friends playing a MMORPG and I enjoy every second.

This is my first true LitRPG, and it was very enjoyable. The writing isn't always top-tier, but the world and characters are great. Travis Baldree was amazing as always. Looking forward to listening to the next book!

One of the chars is an absolute dick, but even then it is halfway understandable and funny nevertheless.

the basic story is nice and dynamic; the characters are well.crafted (if not too original) and develop interestingly thoughout the story.
the magic system is diverse and interesting - i'd like to play this game, too :)
the dialogues are loads of fun and the narrator does a great job.

Loved it. A large part of that might have been my utter love for most things read by Travis Baldree, but considering how under the radar this book was I'm really surprised how well it turned out to be. Not too big a fan of LitRPG's because many turn out to be sloppy, but this was well written. Excited for the next part to drop.
