Im always abit sceptic with litrpgs and the description blurb didn't really seem appealing but please give at least the sample a try and see if you like it.

Once i got started i couldnt stop listening. I loved the performance, very clear and easy to listen to.
This is as far as i know the first published book of Kyle Kirrin and its a great start! I cant wait for the next entry in this series.

This is my first true LitRPG, and it was very enjoyable. The writing isn't always top-tier, but the world and characters are great. Travis Baldree was amazing as always. Looking forward to listening to the next book!

This story achieves a good balance between the RPG component (a bit of system stuff, classes, skills, etc.) but not too much, combined with good character and story building. Very enjoyable, thanks!

If you have ever seen a group of real friends treat each other, you know they always enjoy the missery of their friends, but only for that long until they do a great gift of friendship.
We are able to follow a real group of friends playing a MMORPG and I enjoy every second.

Ich mag das Buch, ich mag den Sprecher. Klar, die Ausrüstungsbeschreibungen sind lang, aber das Ausrüstungssystem ist im Detail okay, die Kämpfe sind angenehm kurz. Die Story eines "Rich Losers" ist auch ein bisschen was anderes und Frank ist angenehm.

Die Geschichte ist super strukturiert, der Aufbau ist glaubhaft und ich konnte mich auch gut in die Charaktere hineinversetzen. Ich finde die Persönlichkeit des Hauptcharakters allerdings ein wenig störend, da seine Hintergrundgeschichte eher mittelmäßig aufgebaut ist und ein wenig faul wirkt. Im Allgemeinen kann ich die Handlungen der NEBENCharaktere manchmal nicht ganz nachvollziehen, das ist aber nur ein kleiner Teil und Lenk nicht von der großen Handlung ab. Ich habe das Buch wirklich sehr genossen und kann es daher auch empfehlen.

Loved it. A large part of that might have been my utter love for most things read by Travis Baldree, but considering how under the radar this book was I'm really surprised how well it turned out to be. Not too big a fan of LitRPG's because many turn out to be sloppy, but this was well written. Excited for the next part to drop.

It's absolutely one of my favourite books. Made me laugh and wanna hear more of Mr Kirrin. One of a kind characters and a unique world are some of the best part in the book
