It's moments like these, that i regret not having a time capsule.
The story is the same as ever.
A mash up of different timelines and arc, slowly converging to a main plot.
Lots of interesting tidbits are now deeper explained and lots of stuff happened.
But i think the best part is. That i need to promise myself not to listen to this during commute ... anymore.
As soon as covid is over... people are gonna see me grin stupidly too often. When the Book 6 comes out.
I like the humor.
Only negative was probably the bit forced thing at the end.
Ryokas decisions and the others fumbleing around, came to be somewhat weird.
But i guess that needed to happen, for plot reasons.

When it was one vol the story had ups and downs, this was just a long line of downs, put me off a bit thinking that the writer will ruin the rest of the vols by cutting them into two parts with no regards of the outcome, If you are going to cut a vol into two you need to release them at the same time so the second part can pickup where the first half ended and the story doesn't suffer.
Now we just got a long line of everything is bad and the bad follows the bad which is "bad" because I liked all the volumes.
That said Pirateaba is a great writer but in need of someone that tells them when the end result isn't what they expected.
****EDIT Book 6 is out and It makes Book 5 much better, you will understand when you read/listen to it, so I am changing my rating to what they should have been, from 3 to 4 for the story****
