Andrea Parsneau is wonderful in adding colour and flavour to the characters and the world.
the story is gripping from start to finish.
I can't wait to hear the next part.

You can tell the story has been split, this is a Debbie Downer all the way, full of chapters that after you heard them the first time, next time you listen to it you'll press skip until it's back about the inn and Erin again, the writer shot them self in the foot by splitting vol4 into 2 parts like they did with Vol3.
When it was one vol the story had ups and downs, this was just a long line of downs, put me off a bit thinking that the writer will ruin the rest of the vols by cutting them into two parts with no regards of the outcome, If you are going to cut a vol into two you need to release them at the same time so the second part can pickup where the first half ended and the story doesn't suffer.
Now we just got a long line of everything is bad and the bad follows the bad which is "bad" because I liked all the volumes.
That said Pirateaba is a great writer but in need of someone that tells them when the end result isn't what they expected.

****EDIT Book 6 is out and It makes Book 5 much better, you will understand when you read/listen to it, so I am changing my rating to what they should have been, from 3 to 4 for the story****

Der mittlerweile 5. Teil des Wandering Inn zeigt wieder einmal die absolute Qualität der Sprecherin. Andrea Parsneau ist eine wahre Künstlerin. Jeder Charakter hat seine eigene Sprechfarbe, seinen eigenen Dialekt. Der Autor gibt jeder Figur die Highlights die sie braucht und treibt die Story in genau dem richtigen Tempo voran.

This Series is really awesome and this book especially adds a lot of it. not to mention the value of 50 hours for 10 bucks

It's moments like these, that i regret not having a time capsule.

The story is the same as ever.
A mash up of different timelines and arc, slowly converging to a main plot.
Lots of interesting tidbits are now deeper explained and lots of stuff happened.

But i think the best part is. That i need to promise myself not to listen to this during commute ... anymore.
As soon as covid is over... people are gonna see me grin stupidly too often. When the Book 6 comes out.

I like the humor.

Only negative was probably the bit forced thing at the end.
Ryokas decisions and the others fumbleing around, came to be somewhat weird.
But i guess that needed to happen, for plot reasons.

As a hopeless Wandering Inn addict, this is just enough to halt the cravings for a while,,,

How pirteaba manages so well to really take her time to tell all the many parts of the story at length without getting boring AND keeping the different threads together AND steadily increasing the tension on the master plot is still a mystery to me,

Andrea Parsneau is one of the most versatile voice actors on the planet.

I hope this series is ot going to end too soon,

As always fantastic. Though for my taste the fight scenes are too long. So much war stuff. I prefer all the other things

Again fantastic storytelling from the Author and the voice actor. <3 They are a perfect match.
Every Character is unique, acts for it rational and some have growth or flaws of their own kind.
The multiple storylines are well written and connected sometimes or just slitter soft against each other, but never feels forced.
Let's go to the next book! :D
