I seldom listen to such a breathtaking and absolutely perfectly performed audiobook. That story is catching and was not letting me lose for just a second. I really enjoyed that book.
I would like to recommend that book to everybody who likes Brylian and perfectly fantasy storytelling.

readers of the wandering in will have some repetition of what has been told in the books, but I did not mind.
it's a wonderful written book with a new fresh character in a new setting, but tying into the story of the wandering in in certain places.
I am a fan of spin offs like to see more stories .

level ups and storybeats feel rewarding. q funny take on a fresh fantasy world. the inhabitants feel real and plausible. I liked it and waiting for the 2nd part

If you look for a fun light novel that makes you smile and laugh sometimes and weep at other times, this is perfect.

Do not expect high literature but a good fun novel to pass the day. Like a good Dramedy Episode worth rewatching even years later.

The Speaker did a great job reflecting the emotions of the main character in her songs that are worked all over into the story and the voiced characters are nearer to an audio play than just an audio book with her versatility and ingenuity.

Andrea outdid herself on this one!

Man fiebert von Anfang an mit und leidet mit allen Fehlern, welche die Hauptpersonen machen. Freut sich dann aber auch an ihren Erfolgen.

The setting is the similar as in The Wandering Inn (same world, a woman from Earth was teleported to the other world), however, the plot is not as captivating as the Wandering Inn series.

mir gefällt alles ausser die langen Kampfscenen. Nun ich denke die Herren müssen auch bespasst werden.
Wie immer perfekte Sprecherin. Ich hoffe die Protagonistin trifft dann bald auf meine anderen Favoriten Erin und Ryoka.
The wandering inn sollte übrigens verfilmt werden. Es wirdnur noch Mist produziert, oder Wiederverfilmungen weil die auf nichts neues kommen.
Und damit alles reinpasst bitte als Serie und von Engländern produziert...Die verändern dann nicht alles und/oder lassen die Hälfte weg.

to be honest at first the main character pissed me off a lot which of course is good story telling and important for character development. I was happy how the story shaped up although it was unusually fast paced for the wandering inn world.

I enjoyed the audio book a lot and hope I don't have to wait too long for book 2!

Also I would give narration 10 stars if I could.

I read Gravesong when it was first released and liked it. It is a very good story by pirateaba standards, which are pretty high ( if you enjoy the style). But what really convinced me here was Andreas performance. It is one thing to read the lyrics of a song, especially of you are not familiar with it, and something else entirely to hear it being sung full of emotion.
I can only recommend Gravesong. I am really looking forward to the continuation of the Singer of Terandria Series.

Wie der Rest der Bücher von pirateaba gut geschrieben aber der Fokus auf nur auf Cara und wie sie sich gegen die Welt stellt ist …. Anstrengend. Das erste Buch wo ich öfters eine Minute vorgespult habe um mir eine Tirade nicht anzuhören. Hit and miss ist der Gesang. Nicht meins, aber Andrea hat auch eine gut Gesang Stimme von daher auch die 5sterne Performance
