denn obwohl das Buch so mit über 40h Hörzeit lange erscheint, war es zu schnell vorbei. Aber im Ernst, ich mochte dieses Band sehr. Ich finde die Serie insgesamt super aber hier fühlten sich die Handlungsstränge der einzelnen Protagonisten sehr ausgewogen an. Ich freue mich schon sehr aufs nächste Band. :)

Mal wieder ein Fest viele schöne Handlungsstränge werden bedient. und neue potentielle Verkettungen sind am Horizont zu erkennen. einfach großartig.

interesting twists

It's more of the same. Which is good.
Sometimes a book is more focused on 1 or 3 Storys, with one main Story.
Sometimes a book is spread around everywhere.

We got one of the later ones this time.
Story hooks all over the place are reeeellleeeeeddd in slowly.
Some of the Story Arcs got started and ended, some are lose ended and some where just to set the mood.
But we finally got some really good deep lore about that "Demon" Infested Isle.
A few tidbits with everyone, except rags.

....
There we have the one "bad point" .... i really like the goblins xD!
But atleast the Torin bit was nice.

The other bad point is argueabley the book title and cover art.
Sure its integral to the Story. But i got gaslighted into believing its about our Dragon Friend... xD
The actual "Archmages Ire" Arc, was short and not very interesting in comparision.
The Solution to the Problem ... sounded like something an Angry Noble would have insisted on after 6 months of being ignored... Sooooooo. Yeah.

Oh and LGTBQ+ warning? Not that anything Smexy is going on with our Runner+ Vampire pair up ... sadly. Cause the Runner stuff is boring mostly and cringey. But there's atleast one sub plot going on about a LGTBQ+ Rights group, being hunted down. Cause the "they ain't natural!" old folks hate it. That one has been a subplot for ages and i just finally realized it. Nothing bad, but it feels icky as always. When real life politics stuff gets dragged into fantasy. Lets hope its done well going further, as it has been done till now.

I have been following the series since book 1 and was devouring every new book in no time, but after the goblin king was defeated.. 3 or 4 books ago, the story is all over the place and not moving forward to anything.. it feels like writing something for the sake of writing, but nothing is peaking up to anything… It s a collection of meaningless side and mini stories not contributing to anything bigger... and Erin is getting more and more obnoxious… it’s quite disappointing.. 🤷🏼‍♂️
