..a bit slow in total. i really like the worldbuilding, which is mostly on point. He MC and most SC feel like real Charakters. The Story Twistsand Plot are good, but something is missing, dunno really what..

Tbh i Had littel to none expectations when i started this book AS i have ready or better listened to another book the author wrote before. and tbh His ant book was Just really really Bad and Made you feel uncomfortable. But this one hooked me immedeatly , IT isnt overdramatic while still having the necessary gravitas in the Right situations. the Main Charakter isnt conpletly stuipid Nor does IT feel Like He knows Thing He shouldnt know bec only the author knows. the world building is solid and coherent and the lit RPG System is Well Made.

One of the best LitRPG series out there. OP main, but really hard challenges so it isn't boring. Good world-building, really good story, and surprisingly good narrator. Pretty much one POV. The MC isn't whiny, but he also isn't a badass. I really recommend it if you like LitRPG.

Endlich mal eine richtig gute Necromancer-Story in diesem Genre!!! Die Storyline hat mir bisher sehr gut gefallen.

The story itself is interesting, but sadly that alone isn't quite enough to make for a good book. It's not bad and if you're someone that has long run out of progression fantasy audiobooks you'll probably find this to be a decent way to fill the void, but it'll be more for killing time than for entertainment.

Sadly the progression is incredibly slow. Not only is this a fairly slow paced story - mostly due to the difficulties the main character faces, partly due to the scope the author is trying to cover - there is also way too much exposition, thinning out the progression even more. An entire chapter on describing a spell being cast? No thank you.
Add on top of that the fact that this is - by nature of it being a web novel - not exactly well polished writing and you end up with a run of the mill novel. The most noticeable issue with the writing being the jarring POV changes. Several times the POV seems to change within a paragraph, jumping between the involved parties.
The narrator isn't particularly bad, but they aren't particularly good either. I'm sure someone like Travis Baldree could have made this one quite a bit more enjoyable.

Im 33 chapters in and something fun or interesting has yet to happen. The MC lacks the wit and character I had expected based on the authors other series and the overall progression is a lot slower. I’m unlikely to get the second book. I’ll update this should I change my mind.
