As the first review I write here, this one just had to honoured with some words. I loved the orc perspective so very much, coming from the eisenhorn series. It was so incredibly funny and witty and gave such a nice new perspective on things from the "simple" orc perspective.
I dearly wish there was more!!!

Very nice and well told story of the orcs and their culture, love the voice of the reader with bis orcimmitation

Seeing the world of 40k from the Point of View of rhe Orks by itself might sound like a fun idea by itself, but add a great, fitting narration and an Ork Nob you can root for and you get an adventure you won't forget.

really well written story with lots of action and Humor!
orks are by far the most fun faction to hear about in 40k and the reader really shows that with the way he reads.
even the Mechanicum is read really well selling their less human character very well.
the story it self isn't really the focus of this book it's more about the characters and their journey, really enjoyable.
I hope for a continuation!

Mike Brooks and Tom Allenby absolutely knock it out of the park with this magnificent piece of orky work. I was recommended this book by one of my local Warhammer clerks and didn't actually know there were any Ork-PoV books whatsoever. Being an Ork player myself, I wasn't disappointed, quite the contrary. The excitement and insight into both the Orky way as well as the Mechanicum provided by this book far exceeded my expectations. Especially since it's basically "just" an "Orks raid a Forge World" story, buth with very enjoyable bits and pieces from the characters' thought processes.

10/10 would listen to again (and probably will).
