Gosebumbs and Frozen Blood
the Narrator made a great Job with the voices filling this grim and Dark Story with Detail and live that made my blood run Cold.

night lords
nichts zu meckern ein gutes unterhaltsames Buch über ne Legion die weit gefallen ist und doch irgendwie besser zusammenhält als der Rest.

The best warhammer book I’ve read/listened to so far
As it’s impossible to acquire most books from dark library and I’m not willing to pay some scalper 500€ I got this audiobook instead. Long story short I was blown away! ADB is by far my most favourite warhammer author and this might be his magnum opus (if the other two books hold up). I was so immersed I almost crashed my car and was finished within a week. Just plain awesomeness - and the narrator is also very very good!

düsterer Auftakt zu den Nightlords
Die Geschichte um Talos und die erste Klaue der zehnten Kompanie der Nightlords hat einen furiosen Auftakt.
Dunkler Humor und epische Weltraumschlachten.

Voice acting that rivals an audio drama
Good story, superb voice acting, good introduction to the Night Lords as such. Also accessible to 40k laymen

A long dark wait has finally ended.
This is the first of 3 books alltogether known as the Nightlord-Omnibus.
Soul Hunter features the introduction to the mostly ignored Night Lords or what is left from them. As the reader you are sucked into the story right from the dark beginn... taken hostage by Talos and his Brothers. Taken to a sinister 30k battleship and to a warp-beast in command.
The story itself make this audiobook a great thing, the reader does a good job... yet I dont understand why a russian accent is used for some characters from Nostromo.

Best trilogie I've ever read.
Incredible Story, very good voice acting. I loved the three books so much, I've read them twice already and plan to reread them sometime.

Great Narration, usual ADB sludge
Great Narration by Andrew Wincott. First time I heard him narrate an audiobook and he really delivered. He has some funny mispronunciations, basically every word ending with “ies” but that’s just adding to the overall charm.
The story itself suffers from ADB’s usual pretentious, self indulgent writing style. I wouldn’t have been surprised to listen to him pseudo quoting a certain Warsage Aaron Demskius. There’s no doubt in my mind that the biggest fan of ADB’s writing is ADB. What in his head probably sounds epic while writing, lost in his own power fantasy, just causes eye rolling and cringing.
As an upside, him dealing with a comparatively insignificant sub story like the one we get in Soulhunter, means that he cannot destroy established lore and assassinate previously developed characters to the extent he loves to do when writing Horus Heresy entries.
Black Library, de- canonise Master of Mankind, thank you.
