With their mighty fleet, and superior weapons and machines, how can their endeavour possibly fail? However, despite a parade of early successes, Commander Farsight soon faces enemies he wasn't anticipating and finds not only his courage but also his soul tested to the very limit.

A good book about blueberries
Despite the other reviews trashtalking the book for the characters plot armor or that the Space Marines were "dumb children" I gave this book a shot and was not disappointed. Yes the main characters do have plotarmor in the extreme from time to time, name a 40k book that's different in that regard, for the Space Marine part, they act like the Xeno hating Space Marines they are and nothing less.
The book does a good job at highlighting why the Tau are a threat to the Imperials on the battlefield while still being considered mostly annoying and not dangerous. In my opinion this is a pearl between all the Chaos vs. Imperium books of 40k out there.

Typical Warhammer
The Plot Armor in this Story is so massiv, you could build a Space Fleet from it and conquer the universe

Farsight gets to shine
