As the Indomitus Crusade spreads out across the galaxy, one battlefleet must face a dread Slaughter Host of Chaos. Their success or failure may define the very future of the crusade - and the Imperium.

Listen to it because: the brand-new Warhammer 40,000 saga begins here. Experience the Indomitus Crusade and a battle that will be a tipping point for the future in an all-action tale by Guy Haley.

The story: a great darkness has befallen the galaxy, and the armies of Chaos are rampant. To survive, humanity must retaliate and take back what they have lost. By the will of the reborn primarch, Roboute Guilliman, is the Indomitus Crusade launched - a military undertaking that eclipses all others in known history. From the Throneworld of Terra does the Avenging Son hurl his fleets, their mission the very salvation of mankind.

As vessels in their thousands burn through the cold void, the attention of Fleetmistress VanLeskus turns to the Machorta Sound - a region under attack by a dreaded Slaughter Host of the Dark Gods. The success of the Indomitus Crusade will be determined by this conflict, and the desperate mission of Battlegroup Saint Aster, led by Space Marine Lieutenant Messinius. Even then it is but a prelude to the forthcoming bloodshed.

Spotlighting many very different aspects of Imperial life in great depth inbetween thrilling battles. Brilliant!

Probably the best WH40K book I have ever read

While some story arcs in this book shined brightly ans proved to be entertainment of the highest quality, one felt wholly out of place to the point where it slightly damaged the flow of the story.
That aside I can warmly recommend this Audiobook!

Enjoyable

I think the level of details in everything is brilliant and allows you to form a solid picture of the characters ,scenery and everything else.

Awesome the first warhammer book I’ve listened to can’t wait to hear the rest of the works in this series.

The sub plot was painfully unnecessary, it was alsmost the same as the one from the Siege of terra 1, some messenger wants to convey a important message. And suprise suprise, it leads to nothing. Warhammer got diverse and i cant say that i like the change. The rest was fine

Era Indomitus

A complex, thrilling story that manages to be exciting without being too drawn out or lose itself in one of the many storylines it depicts.
Held up by a host of interesting characters. From timid scribe to Primarch, all of them are written well and given time to make an impact.

One of Haleys best books.
