In the face of the looming apocalypse, Creed must weld the champions of Cadia into a bulwark capable of withstanding Abaddon’s fury. And in orbit, the Despoiler himself finds his own alliance teetering on a knife edge…
This is a tale told at epic scale, from the tables of high command to the slaughter of the pylon fields, and with a huge cast of characters from self-styled demigods to the rank-and-file foot soldiers of the Imperium.

Nice Story overall
But the women Agenda is really tiring. The men are weak or traitorous. Creed is larping as Churchill. A women with daddy issues and Cadians being braver then Space Wolves. The Story is nice and thrilling but every book now has sub Plots revolving about Strang wahmen. The target audience are grown men, i mean we lost the sex and Rock and roll Part already. Alteast make it a little bit more subtle. But i dont want to hear about daddy issues thats silly

Best Warhammer 40k Audiobook i have listened to in a while
very good reader, very good story and awesome characters with nice development. Checks all boxes for a nice Audiobook. 10/10 would recommend

Book top, speaker not so much.
it sounds like the speaker usually does childs books. His character voices are in many cases just annoying and childish.... sad for this nice story. I looked forwarded to the story about the fall of Caidia but the speaker makes it rly hard to listen to...

Story very good, reader not so much
Loved the story but the reader was not a good choice for this epic story . Most voices that were used took the seriousness out of the story as they made the characters sound funnily bonkers. I did like the speaker in other audio books, where is portfolio of voices fitted the characters like in the 40k crime series, but in this one I did not. It ruined the emersion into the drama of the story for me.

Robert Rath manifesting as one of the top BL writers
I must say I‘m stunned. Ever since I heard that a Fall of Cadia book is gonna release, I was ecstatic. Seeing it was Robert Rath had me even more excited, having read Infinite & Divine as well as Kingmaker. His storytelling and character development throughout his books is a absolute joy to read. Keep it up, hope to see more great work from you!

A tragic love letter to the Imperial Guard
The book is a bit too long and the voice actor has some very strange voices at times, where people sound like Skelletor. But he is amazing as the most important characters, like Creed and Abbadon. Robert Rath made me really care about the characters in this story and knowing how it ends makes it much more tragic all the way through. Also, the Foxhole poem made me tear up, and I usually hate poetry. Well done Mr. Rath, this is your third book in a row that I love.
