Die Geschichte macht genauso gut weiter wie die vorherigen Teile aber bitte bringt den alten Sprecher zurück. Der neue Sprecher vermiest einfach alles. Es wird viel zu schnell vorgelesen (Geschmackssache) und oft wird von der Story zu Statusmeldungen der Level etc einfach Pausenlos übergegangen wodurch diese oft untergehen. Zudem ist keinerlei Gefühl in der Stimme einfach nur neutrale Kälte und es gibt kaum eine Verstellung bei verschiedenen Personen.
Ich liebe nach wie vor die Geschichte und werde auch die weiteren Teile hören sobald Sie erscheinen aber es wäre doch Wünschenswert wenn diese wieder von Todd Menesses oder wenigstens einem Erzähler der mehr als 2 Tonlagen kennt und schon einmal was von dramaturgischen Mitteln gehört hat.

The continuation of this series is as always amazing. After a lot of the lose ends that were fixed in the 5.book. The progression is as fast as ever and it lets nothing to be desired. It remides me a bit more of the first books where alva was not so much of a focus point while still being important and a way to drive the polt forward. the only sad thing i could say is the change of the speaker. He does an amazing job and is easy getting used to, but the the fact that they are all sounding a bit streamlined sadens me a bit. Still TOTALY WORTH PICKING UP

Sure the story is still great but I think the change of narrators is a big bummer.

Don't get me wrong: Neil Hellegers is great! A soothing and clear voice. But going from the diversity of voices the previous narrator had, made it difficult for me to differentiate between the variety of characters, especially the female ones. Therefore I had to rewind sometimes, as some conversations became difficult for me to follow on who said what. Were the female voices of the previous narrator good? Hell no. But each character had his own consistent voice and I think THAT made it really easy to immerse into the story.

I don't know why the previous narrator isn't present anymore, and I assume he won't come back. So, I would recommend at least a female narrator for the female characters.

Overall I think I will continue listening to this audiobook, but definitely with a dent in my excitement for the next parts.

Story weiterhin gut. Neuer Sprecher ist nicht schlecht aber gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Geschichte wird nicht mehr so lebhaft vorgetragen und die raue Stimme macht es schwerer zu folgen. Überlege ernsthaft ob ich der Reihe weiter folge, zumal das Buch auch noch geteilt wurde ..

Schade :-(
