    New Narrator kills the story.

I did some research and Michael Chatfield changed the Narrator because the old one "took to long recording the books".

Okey listen to this: I would rather wait a year to get the next book narrated by the old Narrator than buy any book with the current one. Just listen to this for 5 minutes and you know why good work takes time and rushing things might hurt the product.

The voices are just wrong. The conversations are rushed through so that you don't know who is talking. This is so far away from book 1-5 I could ask someone on the streets to read it to me and it would have the same effect.

I CAN'T LISTEN TO THIS. I WILL REFUND THIS.

    Wtf

So I haven’t looked into why the chose a new narrator yet but wtf… I really love the first 5 books and love the way you can hear each characters own voice.
Also I really don’t get how 700 something pages equal 26hrs (part 5) and 500 something pages only equal 13 hrs of playtime??? Are you really trying to sell me that this is the whole book? What in all seven hells happened????? @michael chatfield why man why??? @Neil Hellegers its not against you, its really hard to take over in the middle of the story

A lot of good with a bit of sad

The continuation of this series is as always amazing. After a lot of the lose ends that were fixed in the 5.book. The progression is as fast as ever and it lets nothing to be desired. It remides me a bit more of the first books where alva was not so much of a focus point while still being important and a way to drive the polt forward. the only sad thing i could say is the change of the speaker. He does an amazing job and is easy getting used to, but the the fact that they are all sounding a bit streamlined sadens me a bit. Still TOTALY WORTH PICKING UP

A definite letdown after the previous books

The story doesn't do anything new for a very long time, and that after the amazing book 5, where finally some things really HAPPENED!
That, in combination with the terrible new voice artist, leaves me with a lot of disappointment.
The new voice just can't seem to be able to finish sentences without RAISING the voice near the end, which always sounds like the sentence should go on, yet it rarely does. Bring back the old narrator, please! This one is no good for the series at all!

    disappointing

soo the storry is still great, but:

the new reader they got is shit af. i habe no idea who is talking, everyone sounds the same. he speaks so fast that i need to slow him down or i cannt even follow the storry (and to be slowed down dosent make him sound prettier...)

to split something that was previously one book into 2 just to make more money is a dick move. when you look on the overall time its basicly half of the previous books. so now i can sell 7th realm part 2.
with that new reader this not gonna happen.

Change of Narrator kills the flow

First of all Neil Hellegers is a good narrator.
In my opinion changing the narrator kills most stories.
Neil Hellegers did a good job i needed about 1/4 of the book to "assimilate" the story other stories where narrator changed i couldn't listen to anymore Neil Heggers was ok not good but it's not the old narrator...

About the story it's awesome thats the reason why i tried to give it a chance even when narrotor changed an isn't like the old narrator, if you can hang on it's worth it.

    Terrible narrator

I really love this series but the new narrator is multiple steps down of the old one in pure audio quality and narration quality.

    Worst book so far!

While the idea and the setting of the story are interesting the writing has been getting worse each book. Far too much details on settlement development or side stories and little progression of main characters made me jump through the audiobook. Very confusing is the abundance of new characters introduced, often with similar sounding names. The new speaker sometimes sounded like he just wanted to be done with the near endless fighting in the end. Please dear author, let someone edit your books and take your time writing something good instead of pouring out poor content in a short amount of time!
