Second Edition

Erik West is an ex-combat medic. He and his best friend, marine recon sniper Jimmy "Rugrat" Rodriguez, have been thrown into another world. They've become one of the "cursed". Now they have to figure out this fantasy world, where cultivation, skills, and abilities must be grown...or death awaits.

Ascension is just around the corner, whatever that means. But they'll need to master magic and temper their bodies to survive. In a world where your personal strength is your greatest value, Erik and Rugrat have to start from the bottom. But they've cut their teeth in conflicts all across Earth and honed their skills over years of training while creating a bond and upholding their honors and oaths.

It's not a question of if they are ready for the 10 realms, but instead are the 10 realms ready for them?

Get it now.

Die Welt ist toll erschaffen und die Regeln die der Autor erschafft für seine Welt und sie werden wunderbar eingehalten! Danke und weiterschreiben

This book in and ofitself is alright and quite amusing, altough heavily focused on military. The american infantry doctrine or at least parts of it are part of the book without beeing questioned. Altough the story is set in an initially interesting universe, later parts sadly reveil that it is not a well thought out concept. The author contradicts himself at least once, as if the world was just a medium to adapt to the current means of the story.
Quite a few times the author uses bystanders to build a scene, altough in a rather attention focused style.
The series overall propagates ideas of militarism and capitalism. The main protagonists are of questionable nature, sometimes benelovent and sometimes injuring others for fun. This duality can be seen in various situation, for example in the standing to slavery.
Lastly the author is lacking knowledge, quite a few listeners will cringe more than once upon throughout the series.

good intro to an overall lacking isekai series

might be that just the pseudo-military theme is not my thing, but... yeah, there are so many story holes / illogical actions by the 2 ma's, that it starts getting in the way

story is kind of not terrible, but average at best, not good rnought to counterbalance flaws

average
