Devourer, Ravager. Titles of a forgotten enemy, a distant memory.

Now freshly reborn in stark reminders of burning flame and blood.

The Tenth Realm has been lost, and Akran’s hordes of devourers and ravagers have been loosed upon the lower realms, dealing the reclusive and powerful Imperium a serious blow.

It will take Alva, the Imperium, the sects, clans, nations, and city-states to band together as they did in times of old.

It’s time for everyone to put their war boots on and put their cultivation to use.

Really enjoyed the whole series, the last 2 books felt a bit rushed though. Especially the magic world with modern weapons and military tactics is a unique spin.

Really enjoed the whole series

I started listening to this series after deciding not to 3 times. Dam has it been a good decision and a great journey.

What a journey.

Vielen Dank

Genial

the whole saga started off pretty well and the first couple of books especially had me immersed in the story. But in the last parts it started to feel as if the story was dragged deliberately and cut into smaller pieces for profit. The final audiobook was only 6hrs listening time for a full credit and rather boring. considering the first couple of audiobooks I really expected more...

rather short and a bit disappointing ending

sadly the finally felt like the author lost interest in his own story. plots and scenes that would have taken hours in erlyer books where glossed over in mere one liners. importent scenes where hurried along or just ignored. things with profound emotional impact bearly acknowledged.
overall a big disapointment for a orherwhise great series.
