Having survived the first wave of invading players, Oren now seeks to strengthen his clan. With the Breeder's Den destroyed and most of Goblin's Gorge's resources devoted to rebuilding, his best hope lies in creating an army of golems. Story was nice, Jeff Hays made a great job and I went through the series in no time.

The open end is frustrating and I missed the rising of a certain dark God.

Ich war immer etwas hin und hergerissen, tolle Geschichte allerdings etwas zuviel Crafting für meinen Geschmack. Nichtsdestotrotz blieb ich dran weil es eben, wie schon gesagt, eine tolle Geschichte ist. Aber das Ende ! Wow, so einen Plotchange hätt ich jetzt nicht erwartet. Zum Glück läd bereits der nächste Teil und ich muss nicht Monate lang warten. Bin verdammt gespannt :)

good story but there was a miss.. at some point he had to kill players and he was already at 39 but in the end part they reset that number to 30 again bc of a plothole

How could you mess up the Audio so badly??
Abprupt cuts, new Voice effect for the inventory/ game messages overall nearly ruined the story for me.

The overall story was good. What really made it amazing were the voice actors who made it sound like there were at least 20 people involved.

Ich denke, über den 3. Teil muss man nicht viel sagen. Wer soweit gekommen ist, der ist fasziniert von der Geschichte um den Goblin, der die Welt von New Era Online erobern will. Ich finde die Geschichte immer noch sensationell, kurzweilig und spannend. Ich erwarte sehnsüchtig den nächsten Teil :)

Nice story. Just the end a bit annoying. The audio effects within fights distracted me more than giving a bett feeling.

The Story in itself is pretty good (only one part which the author has been attacked for heavily really sucks). Still about 15h of the book is good story vise. The problem is the audio.

The audio is mixed alot. Which means different audio takes have been made to cover mistakes made by the reader. The problem is - its very notable. The Audio level and balance is off and it really bothers me alot.

Also someone made the choice to add very poor soundeffects to stuff like spells and attacks. not allways just sometimes. The Audio is faded and very poor. Its stock-sounds at the very best and is irritating like hell.

Great voice artists. Unique sound effects. Intriguing story. However, very unsatisfying - OPEN end. I don't mind open ends if most things of importance are somewhat settled but the author decided to pull a cheeky one on the listener and drastically changed the story dynamic without any kind of explanation or closure, which I find immensely irritating.

His former work was superb.. this one devalued itself with this kind of ending.

I still recommend this, because 96% of the story was enjoyable - but the last chapters, well.. if you like massive cliffhangers (with months to wait for the next sequel) and irritating endings - this is a no brainer for you.

Above Average story.. if you ignore the end.
