The Dwarves want to fight. They’re ordered to escape. Turtling up is the best of both worlds.

Joe and humanity as a whole messed up pretty badly, managing to get some of the most important people from both the Elven and Dwarven races killed. Now the war is escalating to unprecedented levels, and only one side needs to worry about being slain. With the attackers knowing they can get right back up after dying, they are throwing themselves against their centuries-long foe without caring for the consequences.

As the death toll rises, there’s still hope for Joe and the people that he chose to align himself with. His tiny Hamlet is hidden away from the Elves, so the Ritualist gets a quest to escort the core of the Dwarven Oligarchy to safety: their History, and those that lived it. If he can manage to save even a few as the Dwarven Oligarchy begins to Implode, the race might one day have a chance to regain their former glory.

There’s only one major issue with convincing the war-loving Dwarves to escape the final battle and hide away: they’re war-loving Dwarves.

Joe stays true to himself and is great. Jack is as crazy as ever. But i miss Bard and Poppy. I hope they will come again.

will come out as fast as this one. The one and only thing I can say about this book is. That it is as great as the books that came before AMAZING

I really hope that the next book

This book series has had its minor hickups here and there.
However, this book is really quite enjoyable in that it neatly ties most running story threads together, and tells of interesting progression for both the characters, and their stats.
I enjoyed this even more than "Rexus", which had been my favourite until now.

The narrator is a joy to listen to as well.

I really like the series and especially the previous books, but I really dislike how often out Mc got captured this book.
Like your Mainchar being outplayed, bamboozled or captured now and then is ok but like its too often for me, really disliked it.
Slugged through it in the hopes the next books are better.

Dont like the constant being captured

This Story is just awful. Everything Joe does fails. He literally only has the same 5 spells since book one. This progress is totally disconntected from what he does in the Story. He loses every fight, but somehow managers to suddenly create World changing Rituals. Regardless of what they do he fails because some ramdom Event. Joe is just some loser who continues to fail at everything. Despite that his actions so not impact the main Story at all.

The books in this series are getting worse and worse. A lot is happening but the plot isn't really progressing. I can't even see the plot from the first books being referenced anywhere anymore.
