Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden is Chicago's only openly practicing wizard. He is also dead broke. Am relevantesten
Harry Dresden, laut Visitenkarte Magier, ist eigentlich ein klassischer Privatschnüffler der in Sachen Gerechtigkeit und Wahrheit mit, neben und gegen Polizei-Freund/Feind (hier: -in) handeln muss. Sehr spektakulär bisweilen - sozusagen Mike Hammer auf magisch.

In diesem Fall geht es um Werwölfe (daher auch der Titel der deutschen Übersetzung "Wolfsjagd"), aber bis ihm das klar wird steckt er schon tief in Schwierigkeiten ...

Den ersten Teil der Dresden-Saga hatte ich in Print gelesen und es hat mich nicht eben vom Hocker gebaut, aber dieser Band ist von James Marsters derart genial vorgetragen, dass ich vor Begeisterung heule und mir den nächsten Teil ordere!

Vor ein paar Jahren hätte ich vermutlich 5 Sterne gegeben aber die folgenden Bücher der Reihe sind teilweise besser.

... on the whole story. like I was there and see what he saw, feel what he felt. I like the thing, the tension between murphy and dresden. I'm going to hear the next title now! 👍 This audiobook I can recommend.

James Masters is simply the best in my opinion. I could not think of anyone better for the Harry Dresden Books.

Harry Dresden's 2nd story is about werewolves. As with the first part it starts rather slowly and every now and again Harry has an ace up the sleeve. One thing that really annoyed me was how stupidly his "friend" Karen Murphy reacts.
To sum up: a nice read but no Pulitzer prize. Don't expect too much.
I'll try the third part. If this doesn't get any better, I will quit reading about Harry Dresden.
One good thing at the end though: The reader James Marsters is quite good and can be recommended.
