I loved all Dresden Files Books so far but this one contained way too many detailed battle descriptions for my taste. Never skipped so many chapters of a book. I hope Jim Butcher continues writing so that it doesn't have to end on this note.

This was really good. Can't say I know many series that get better and better as they run on. Dresden files sure is one of them.

Butcher delivers again

If you’re into action games and no older than 50 and male this is probably your Nirwana, but I really don’t like my hero getting hit upon quite so much. Also I hate it when there are too many losses among vital characters. And Harry certainly lost his PI persona. Well that happened already a few books earlier but I was hoping the series wouldn’t drift off into a full blown fantasy story, but hey. There’s still a tiny little bit of Harry’s humour, and there’s Mouse. However I will probably give up on the series if the battles continue.

Wow. There was a lot of emotional ups and downs in this one. In my opinion it was one of the best Dresden Files Books out of the bunch. I'm looking forward to more and I hope we don't have to wait quite this long this time.
