So far my favourite novels in the series have been “Summer Night” and “White Knight”.
After finishing this fantastic instalment, however, I stand corrected.

What an amazing ending to the first half of the Dresden Files! Absolute recommendation.

Really enjoyed how long going, but loosed plots were brought to a close. I am shocked about the ending, and what is may imply, but I’m very much looking forward to continuing on with Harry and friends

A great book. I thought I would listen to it an hour at a time for a few weeks, but once I started on it I couldn't stop and heard through it in 2 days.

The name is apt, this book has BIG changes to the Dresden universe.

First of all , I love the Dresden files … this is my number 12 and next week I will continue with no 13 .
It’s just — that in this book too much of the Harry Potter Syndrom … a hero that is frozen or unable to to things for an annoying time and later can bring up the power anyway , appears . or suddenly forgets all his in all years so carefully used cautions of defense …
Never the less it is a great book … a must to listen or read in the series .

This is a great one in the Dresden series. It's packed full of new developments and showdowns. A little too many fighting scenes for my taste, but the performance by the narrator is wonderful.
