If you're reading this you must be a fan already. So, instead of glazing the series, I'll share my more critical thoughts. The writing was awesome, as always. In general, I have only one problem with the series in general and one with this book specifically. What I dislike about the series is the scale and size that's sometimes being introduced. Figures tenth of kilometers big, millions of warriors battling it out at the same time, beings that are billions of years old, that is just impossible to comprehend and completely not needed to showcase the scale. It sometimes feels like the author does not realize how big that is. Like the highest building is less than 1km high, beings with 100km+ would have their heads dangling in space while standing on earth :). My beef with the current book is the lack of overall progress of the story. Said progress can be summarized in just 2-3 sentences, which is a bit lacking.
Overall, still an incredible experience. 10/10. Would recommend.

if you liled the other books, you will like this one. there is plenty of cultivation mambo jambo as per usual but for a change we have some army management aswell as the usual 1v1 fights.

as usuall: awesome story and narration, if you came this far no need to convince you there. The storyline progression seems a bit slower in this book, apart from the war this book came across as a bit of a (necessary) filler.

I always look forward to Zac and Agras interaction, but this time it was more focused on training and lore. Still good however!

Having thoroughly enjoyed the first book of this series. The initial story captivated me with its intriguing concept, dynamic main character, and well-paced narrative. Unfortunately, I find myself regrettably concluding my journey with the series here.

One of the primary issues I encountered with this book is the overwhelming focus on the inner thoughts of the characters. While introspection can add depth and insight, in this case, it often feels excessive and unproductive. The philosophical musings tend to meander without providing substantial information or advancing the plot. This constant dive into the characters' minds disrupts the flow of the story and makes it difficult to maintain engagement.

Moreover, these inner reflections frequently introduce concepts and ideas that the reader has not previously encountered. This sudden introduction of new, complex themes feels disjointed and confusing, as if critical information is missing. Instead of feeling enlightened, I found myself lost and struggling to follow along.

The narrative does occasionally break away from this introspective monotony to deliver some action or plot development, but these moments are fleeting. We are quickly pulled back into the characters' internal worlds, which start to feel like a repetitive and dull lecture.

Had the author chosen to express these philosophical revelations through dialogues or interactions between multiple characters, it could have created a more engaging and enlightening experience. Such an approach would have allowed the reader to reach conclusions organically through observations and guided discussions. Instead, the heavy-handed introspection leaves little room for connection or immersion.

I really like this series( heard all audiobooks I. the last 2 to 3 weeks) but this book was for me the weakest bc the if the even slower story progression... I mean the first 30 chapters has basically no story it's just powering up... after last book where the last 10 chapters was powering up too... than u go 15 chapters or so with some progression and bam another 10 chapters powering .. I get that u need that for character power progression but it's still too long and seems like the story is an complete afterthought... I mean that book is 24 hours long and u get like 15 hours esoteric bubbling how he arranges lines, how skill should work if does this line, how this treasure energy influences his soul etc... the war arc is nice but too short and I want more... so to say the book isn't bad but disappointing how stuff is allocated and not compressed into make it not boring bc nothing happens..
