Zecia is burning.

Great story as always. However, the monks are getting way too annoying (not a bad thing if we get a satisfying ending)
Two books ago, I was already like, "Someone needs to test their fate!" and they’re still out and about, acting all high and mighty.
I doubt this will change in the next book, but I really hope Zac brings them some real chaos once he leaves Ultom, maybe after he learns that his girlfriend is still alive and has been used like a tool by them.

Defiance of the fall for me personally is one of the best litrpgs and I am still looking forward for each book.
The series has deviated quite a bit from the original spirit of the first chapters. This is a logical consequence of the broadening scope. I realize that it is a very difficult task to describe or summarize what’s going on in an entire universe.

Many of the terms, names, antagonists, and protagonists of the different factions are lost on me. That’s because they haven’t been properly introduced or fleshed out. This makes them feel replaceable and confusing whenever a new name is brought up. It was extremely hard to follow what was going on, and I often had no idea what was being talked about in a new scene. On numerous occasions, I had to rewind and listen again.

It’s also not helpful that there are two versions of Zach, and you can’t easily distinguish between them while listening.

The first ten audiobooks I could follow and enjoy while doing something else. But if you asked me for a detailed summary of what has happened in this book, I’d be in trouble.

I would really appreciate a more detailed summary at the beginning of the next book. Take 30 minutes to summarize and explain what’s going on.

I liked the book as always. Nice mix of cultivation and litrpg. Sadly next book is coming out in a year but I think the Author is taking a break before he the next arc starts

Not to bad

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Wie einige Andere schon geschrieben haben, leider das schlechteste Buch. Es wirkt wie ein Füller ohne wirklich Inhalt. Auch wird es schwierig der Geschichte zu folgen, viele unterschiedliche Charaktere und Orte, ohne zugehörige Geschichte.
Es werden oft und lange sehr verschwommene Konzepte beschrieben, die Kräfteverhältnisse sind willkürlich und die Fähigkeiten des Protagonisten undurchsichtig und anscheinend alle nutzlos.

Auch finde ich es frustrierend dass alle "Bösewichte" immer alle Informationen haben, die Zukunft vorraus sehen und ohne Probleme an jeden Ort gelangen können.
Wird mittlerweile auch etwas repetativ - Feinde wissen alles, sind viel stärker, planen Komplott und Zac schafft es gerade so zu gewinnen.

Ich hoffe der nächste Band wird wieder gut, da ich diese Serie sonst eigentlich liebe!

Sorry, langweilig, unstrukturiert, einfach nur um mal wieder was geschrieben zu haben… wenn das nächste Buch nicht deutlich besser wird war es das für mich!
