    this book totally absorbed me in a very positive sense. i can highly recommend it if you feel you do not succeed in formulating a message the way you really want it to be! it motivates you to work on it!

    Rational individual

    Content is based on the theory of the rational individual, therefore it is limited in its Impact as it reduces humans to mostly acting on what is best for them. The 7 steps are yet still great to work with if you base it on a more complex theory of the human who is here to give. Could have fit into a 1/2 Audio.

    Best business/startup book on Audible!

    I went through a bunch of startup and business management books on Audible, most were really good but this one is so far by far the best: It's more of a tutorial than a book, with a multi-step plan for how to built a successful marketing story.

    In short: focus your marketing story on the customer's true needs and desires instead of focusing on your business, then translate that into an effective website and HR tool.

    The speaker is way too slow but that doesn't matter as you can listen to the book at 1.5-2.0x the normal speed which is then also a very manageable duration to listen to.

    Good marketing advice

    I think Donald Miller manages to distill some principles out of narrative storytelling into the context of business communication.

    As a filmmaker I found this very useful to help my customers out with their own branding challenges and sharpen my own communication as a freelancer.

    Definitely worth a read. The content is easy to take in.

    great book

    great book, learned a lot. not just about marketing but about how advertising might be effecting me. the tips are spot on and i respect the writers desire to love and serve his customer. very valuable!
