I had high hopes for this so-called classic and I was not disappointed. Robert Cialdini takes the reader by the hand and shows how particular levers of influence can have tremendous impact on our lives.

The enormous set of examples helped me to understand the scope and applications of influence tactics, both in marketing and everyday live. I especially liked the additions regarding the growing information complexity and how decision shortcuts become more important. This book with its expansions is absolutely up-to-date and makes me feel like I am hearing a new book with some well picked references to the past. Caldini reads his book himself and one can follow everything he is explaining.
