Hard to listen closely

I fell asleep a lot of times because of monotonous voice of the narrator. I find it hard to get to the end.

Clear, Insightful and to the point

Seth always reminds me of that the better someone gets the clearer his thinking and thus his language is. He is a true godfather of marketing. For me it was more a working audiobook than a story I just listened to. One of the few books which I additionally buy a hardcover of.

The Lean Startup retold

One of the few 2018 books fast-forwarded ... Maybe interesting for traditional marketers, but a wast of time for those aware of ‘fresh’ perceptions.

Read the book instead

I all respect to the author, I must say that he is a great marketer but a terrible reader. The audio book ends up fading the content in a monotonous tone of voice, that lacks enthusiasm and that makes this sound like a boring algebra class rather than a marketing book.
Audible team: you can also use actors to read the audio books. It is worth the investment.

Self Reflection with a guiding hand

The audiobook is perfect when it comes to explaining marketing in terms of examples and offers you guidance in reflecting. However there is not a lot of theory behind it.

Anstrengender Sprecher

Gerade zu Beginn habe ich ein paar gute Einsichten durch das Buch bekommen, weshalb ich auch bis zum Ende dran geblieben bin.

Leider häuften sich dann aber die hochtrabenden jedoch inhaltsleeren Formulierungen und der inflationäre Gebrauch von Wörtern wie trust, empathy und casm.

Der Autor hat zudem eine Sprechweise, die anfangs noch neugierig macht aber nach kurzer Zeit sehr anstrengend wird.
