    Inhaltsangabe

Winter has come to the world, and still, Erin Solstice has no idea how she came to be an [Innkeeper].

Erin is running an inn outside the city of Liscor, but she’s no longer alone. Ryoka Griffin, the City Runner, has business in the south of Izril; she’s out on a dangerous delivery of her own. Yet while both young women have finally found their calling, more and more people are beginning to realize that these visitors from Earth don’t belong here.
Erin must find new guests and old for her inn while expanding her tentative business. Staying safe would also be nice. At the same time, some pesky creatures have arrived to herald winter, and they bring mischief and danger unlike anything she’s ever seen. But as more and more children of Earth begin appearing, the cold of winter is the least of Erin’s worries.

Another Master Piece of Joy :3.

    Well,

    lets start with the obvious.
    Perfect Voice Actor.
Good Story that overlaps with multiple side character storys.
Not too much plot armor, but Eren and Ryhoka have it still thick.
Laughed, cryed and was suprised on more then one occation how the plot went on.

    The only minus points were:
    - I laughed way to hard on that interlude with the three woman at a restaurant, doing girls talk. People looked weirdly at me in the tram.
    - I kinda hate the "Victim Troupe to become stronger" stuff. I won't spoil it, but around 4 hours where pretty much a setup. For Ryhoka to get her act together, while lots of people she liked died. Same as the last book. xD She seems to be the asshole with the social problems, that you just wanna smack on the head really hard. But at a few times, shes a good character.

Generally i would have loved less interludes of non related people to the mc. The clown one was a bit too forced and didn't really give anything new to us. Outside of that.

... i still don't get the american age stuff.
Eren is 21 but behaves like a 12 year old and is viewed like a 12 year old at alot of times.
That one "girl" everyon says is a kid, is actually 18 years old.
And somehow Ryohka is the oldest, but sounds like a cranky teenager most of the time. xD

    *shrugs*

Its not a negative point. But it's weird for someone from europa. Well i guess i compare people to much to myself, when i was 16 ~18 ...

Now its waiting for Book 3 ... while multiple cliffhangers are in place.
Damm Death Gods... i need a time skipping device.

    simply breathtaking!

what a wonderful story! whimsical, funny, as well as tense and sad in all the right places, you cant help but fall in love with all the characters in and out of this world.
and the voice acting is great as well! lots of different voices, must be really difficult to pull off.
cant wait for the next one!

Wonderful and charming despite lose threads

Pirate aba has a very refreshing style and offers a unique viewpoint, translating normal day struggles into the wonders of a fantasy world. The way Andrea Parsneau makes the characters come to life is a treat to listen to. I absolutely enjoy the Wandering Inn and its take on the fantasy genre mixed with RPG mechanics. Where the first book sometimes loses its plot line and seems all over the place, it absolutley shines with a strong ending. This book is agonizingly brilliant in its build up and exposure but sadly fails to tie up the strings in a satisfactory manner. The conflicts that are introduced carry a lot of potential and I for one can't wait to listen to the 3rd Book. This one leaves me with a thirst for a lot more but also with the wish for at least one completed major plot arc.

    Can’t wait for the sequel!

It is a brilliantly written and beautifully performed audio-book. The character-development is really nicely done and it took me just over a week to listen to the whole book.

Spoiler alert: I would have hoped for a more climatic ending - this cliffhanger will be a hard (hopefully not to long) waiting period for book 3!
