Gerade die Serie beendet.
Perfekte Bücher, um sie als Audiobook zu genießen. Der Sprecher macht tolle Arbeit, haucht den Charakteren leben ein, keine Stimme wirkt deplatziert.
Die Geschichte glänzt mit Abwechslung, skurrilen Gestalten und lebt vor allem von der Charakterinteraktion und den oft absurden Geschehnissen. Trotzdem bleibt Raum für etwas ruhigere Momente und es kommt zu einem für mich zufriedenstellenden Abschluss.

Stylische Time Loop - Geschichte mit viel Humor!

I absolutly loved the story and exploring the post apocalyptic world together with the main character. But what really makes this book shine are the characters and their unique powers and personalities that makes the world feel alive. The author manages to create a balance between humor and the darker aspects of the story. Lastly if you are wondering how a story can keep up the tension, even though the main character can litterally go back in time, you don't have to worry. Each loop feels unique and progresses the plot. At the same time the book also explores the negative consequences of time travel and what impact it has on the main characters psyche. This gives each loop a cetain weight and a sacrifice that has to be paid for an additional restart.
The narration is solid 5/5.

I recently finished with the third and final book of this series.
It is an amazing trilogy to listen to. I highly recommend it!

The Perfect Run is an amazing spin on a superhero vs super villain story in which the entire world has been forced to be filled with superpowers. The main character is fun, interesting and as the story develops he becomes more and more relatable. While he is over the top ridiculous, he always keeps a good heart and grows as the books go on.

The ending is incredibly well done too in my opinion, so give this a read/listen.

For it is the perfect story. I adore everything about it- setting, world building, characters and interaction… for me, this series has become my favourite story of all time, my go to recommendation if i am asked for advice on what to read/hear and i hope- nay crave a tv adaptation.
I am truly in love.

Ich brauchte zwei Versuche, um in die Geschichte hinein zufinden, dann aber habe ich die Geschichte relativ zügig durchgehört. Irgendwie ist alles dabei, Sci-Fi, Romance, Action, Comedy... Kein Meisterwerk, aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Viel besser als gedacht.
