A good enough story
It surely isn't the best 40k or even titan novel available out there. However it is sufficiently entertaining and paints the atmosphere of the inner workings of a titan rather well. Plus some enjoyable stompy boys action.
The prevailing critiques of overshadowing SJW, "politics" and so on are somewhat exaggerated. While it is true, that the magos character uses special pronouns and the announcement at the beginning was a bit surprising, that's also the extent of it. (Being literally a fully mechanical centipede, it doesn't seem too outlandish for the magos not to identify with dudes with d...s or chicks with c...s.)
There were certainly no ramblings about the social injustice of inappropriately addressed tech priests (even though that actually sounds funny). No further remarks on gender topics stood out to me.
Hell, even the pronouns were spelt so similarly to "normal" pronouns, that half of the time I didn't even realise them being different anymore!

Average story with a few weakpoints
I read the book when it was released and I did fought myself through the invented gender neutral pronoun..
It is a shame, that the political need of the Author got in the way of a normal Warhammer Story.
There are some strange circumstances, but the main char (the little Cog Girl) is likeable enough, the gender neutral Techpriest is also okay
The suporting characters are okay and some weak.
And we have many scence of shooty and stompy Imperator Titan.
the cognitive disonance with the pronoun is just shadowing the story
If the Techpriest neither identifies with female or male humans. It is, clearly a 'It'
but no. The author needs a pronoun to make the charakrer special.
The story isnt worth ity money, maybe for free it is even a waste of time. So be warned

Worst WH40k novel
The pronoun nonsense completely destroyed the immersion.
Very saddening, was looking forward to a good titan novel.

sjw trap, do not fall for it.
The author crammed his personal political view into the novel in a very cringy way. It does not belong there, and seems incredibly off in the universe of 40k
