Ein leider etwas enttäuschendes Ende zu dieser überaus hervorragenden Trilogie. Zum Schluss wirkt es dann doch eher verworren und gewollt. Vor allem die sonst so fein verwobene Geschichte wird dann leider sehr grob.

A great and different kind of story, which is focusing a lot on technical stuff. If you're not native english it's hell of a challenge, but it's possible and totally worth it.

One of the best stories i had the pleasure of experiencing. The narrator does a good job but it can be goofy whenever yelling is supposed to be transferred.

The complete series encompasses so many issues, themes, concepts, dilemmas and eventually questions our fundamental concept of physic.
It was a great experience to listen to it all - something you shouldn't miss out on.

What a story

By volume, it is about 1/5 intriguing ideas, 1/5 not thinking those ideas through, 1/5 not supporting those ideas by sound science (as in: claiming to be scientific, but getting vital aspects wrong or outright ignoring them for the sake of drama, rather than consistent plot development) and 2/5 material that should have been rewritten or cut in editing.
The narrative is overly long, hinges on most characters being incapable of making sound decisions and ultimately tells a misanthropic story through the lens of supposed realism
The narration contains errors (both in editing and reading, i.e. mixing up the voices of two characters who are given very distinct voices) and is very slow. I had to set the speed to 1.3 to get a normal speaking speed, and still got multi-second gaps in the middle of sentences.
