Am relevantesten
Henrietta Meire does an excellent job. She sounds very authentic and because of her, the story comes to life.

Because of a very amateur and slow start, I had almost given up on this story.
But I’m glad I kept listening because after chapter 2 or 3 it became solidly good entertainment and was never boring.

I’m no fan of the characters having lot of premonitions and frequently chewing on their lips. I also like to guess the solution.
However - as an audio book - it was sure fun listening to.

The voice of Henrietta and her aggressive narration was often quite unpleasant. It was only the story that kept me listening.

The narrator of Nikki should definitely work on her voice. At a normal level all is good, but when she raises her voice it becomes a screech and that is just terrible for a Audible book especially when the listener is using ear buds.

It’s always a pleasure to read/listen of things that can change a life even if it feels like that is impossible

I loved it

I like Joy Ellis‘ stories - love the Jackman/Evans series - not least of all because of the the performer.

These stories have a similar feel to it, and I like the development of the characters - Nikki Galena and her team.

I don‘t like Henrietta Meire - Her voice is still okay in the narrative parts, but as soon as she tries to give any of the female characters a voice, it‘s a screech, most of the time… awful, just bloody awful, especially with ear buds - and as awful, the boring intonation of DS Easter… Joseph on sleeping pills almost all the time.

It‘s a shame. These audiobooks could be really good… but they‘re not because of the reader.
