Den Plot habe ich bis zuletzt nicht zu 100% durchschaut, das ist großartig. Joy Ellis schreibt wieder einerseits logisch, andererseits aus sich schnell abwechselnden Perspektiven, sodass es spannend, manchmal hektisch und trotzdem nachvollziehbar ist, was man hört. Die Sprecherstimme Meires ist allerdings etwas atemlos im Tempo und sowohl bei Frauenstimmen als auch bei mancher Männernachahmung nervig hoch.

Wie erwartet, spannend gute Story

Too much Talk of Emotions and acting on gut feelings. But rich in atmosphere, authentic accents und likeable characters.
Like a pleasantly thrilling holiday in England.

I'm wirh Niall: Nikki and Joseph are made for each other! They just need to see it. They'd make a great couple and wonderful parents. Hope that Joy Ellis will also see it that way in one of the following boots.

After listening to the whole Jackman/Ellis series I was sceptical as to this whether I would enjoy another one as much, but this series is as enjoyable and this one is one of my favourites out of all the books so far. So enjoyable!

I really enjoyed this one, although the development of the characters is a bit too good to be true - but the story is good and tense and at a good pace. I the narrating is superb! I am looking forward to the next instalment!
