The storyline is great. There are twists and unexpected turns of events. The integrated lovestory is not overpowering the rest of the story. I enjoyed it. Big complement to the narrator

Great plot, wonderful voice

Es passt einfach alles. Die Story ist spannend, die Charaktere sind toll und entgegen meiner Befürchtung (ich bin etwas vorgeschädigt) gab es keine dumme, naive Protagonistin und auch keine toxische on-off Beziehung. Auch der 2. Teil ist mega!

Ich bin zwiegespalten. Die Welt und die Charaktere konnten mich nicht mitreißen, aber langweilig war es nicht. Schon lange nicht mehr wurde ich so oft überrascht, was als nächstes passiert. Zumindest für mich waren die Wendungen (und davon gab es mehrere) unverhersehbar. Das ist ein riesen Pluspunkt.
Es hat was von "The Hunger Games". Wer diese Story mochte und gerne Storys mit Vampiren und Starcrossed Lovers liest, sollte hier nicht zögern.

I really loved the authors take on vampires it was refreshing and not to cliché. The characters were interesting and intriguing and the world was brutal and bloody though it still had the power to draw you in. I couldn’t stop listening and even lay awake listening until 5am one day because of the constant suspense. The central relationship was masterfully done, perfect enemies to lovers banter. The last three hours were filled with so many emotional OMG moments that I was constantly gasping. The berater did an amazing job I absolutely loved her voice.
Would absolutely recommend !!!
