Suspenseful end
To be honest, I couldn't quite decide at first if I liked the book or not. The female main character undergoes sort of a reversed character development, starting at her ruthless vampire side and always living in fear and not trusting anyone, but then embracing her human side which is more about allowing herself to feel compassion and love. That might be the case why I couldn't stand her for the first 5 hours of the audiobook. Also, the language contains a lot of swearing, which mirrors the harsh world they live in, but got a bit too much for me sometimes.
The end, however, puts forward with some very unexpected twists.

Great plot, wonderful voice
The storyline is great. There are twists and unexpected turns of events. The integrated lovestory is not overpowering the rest of the story. I enjoyed it. Big complement to the narrator

Absolutely awesome and gripping
I really loved the authors take on vampires it was refreshing and not to cliché. The characters were interesting and intriguing and the world was brutal and bloody though it still had the power to draw you in. I couldn’t stop listening and even lay awake listening until 5am one day because of the constant suspense. The central relationship was masterfully done, perfect enemies to lovers banter. The last three hours were filled with so many emotional OMG moments that I was constantly gasping. The berater did an amazing job I absolutely loved her voice.
Would absolutely recommend !!!

Top narrator, top storyline
Loved the voice and style of the narrator. The storyline was also pretty catchy. I enjoyed this book a lot
