This audiobook turned out to be one of the best audiobooks I've listened to lately.
The story was thrilling, the plot was fast pacing.
I loved every step of the FMCs journey, how the character was developed and how she finally got into her strenght and power. She started out as a shy and naive girl and turned into a powerful, ruthless and cunning woman who trust herself and knows exactly what she wants and what she is able to do.
The romance between her and the MMC was (in my opinion) a real enemies-to-lovers, they really couldn't stand each other at the beginning and the banter was very funny. In the end I couldn't quite grasp their relationship because the MMC was ambivalent and closed up. I can't say I know much about him after finishing this book...but well, this was part of the huge plot twist in the end.
I will definitely continue with this series. Not just because the story was amazing but also because the narration was perfect. I loved the female voice. She could bring up all the emotions perfectly and made listening to this audiobook even more exciting.

War zuvor verunsichert den Titel zu kaufen, da der männliche Sprecher nicht gut wegkam und nicht in der Hörprobe zu hören war. Finde ihn aber klasse und bin glücklich die Geschichte gehört zu haben. Spannende Story und steamy, einfach super. Freue mich auf das nächste Buch!

The start was a boring with all the traveling and stuff but I understand it was needed for the story building. The ending chapters are absolutely amazing though

Eine wunderschöne und spannende Geschichte, ich hatte zum Teil eine Gänsehaut beim Zuhören. Tolle Sprecher!!!

Einziger Abzug: Der englische männliche Sprecher war nicht ganz nach meinem Geschmack, daher an der Stelle nur 4 Punkte.
Unterm Schnitt ein super gelungenes Buch, das ich am liebsten in einem durchgehört hätte. Ich werde mir direkt den nächsten Band holen!

I wish i could rate this audiobook better, because the story is alright and the female narrator is great, but her male colleague is absolutely awful. He is constantly drawling, probably trying to make himself sound posh but he just ends up speaking every single sentence with the same intonation in an immensely unlikeable way. it’s giving me strong „unlikeable guy from 7th grade thinks he’s hot sh * t in theater class but can’t act for the live of him and confuses the smiles he gets from theatre coach( simply for his enthusiasm ) for confirmation for his non existent talent“ , but the grown up version. only listened to it because i was out of credit to buy an alternative.
