I really loved this Trilogy's but what i wished it would have more included is more Moments between Cardan and Jude, even ist nice they finally realized they love each other, still feels so much unspoken... and the stuff with tayrin also a lot to unspoken. And i wished leas conversations wit Heather in this 3 book, instead more with Cardan....

holly black creates the most fascinating worlds and characters with so many different sides and aspects, that it is always a delight to read and listen to something she wrote. the speaker is also helping to paint the pictures and characters. the final book is the perfect ending for the series and it is amazing how this series is connected to her previous series as well. enjoy listening to it and don't lose faith in the twins and the princeling.

I loved this series and also the ending. Could be my favorite series of all time. The last book could have been longer but no loose ends, just for me to indulge more.

Loved it! Was worried for too few interactions between Jude and Cardan because of another review, but came to find it not to be the case for me. Great speaker and great end to an awesome book series.

Meine Erwartung an das Finale dieser Trilogie war riesig. Vor allem nach dem Ende des zweiten Teils. Dem gerecht zu werden ist schwer aber Holly Black hat es geschafft. Es ist ein großartiges Buch und ein würdiges Hörbuch mit einer sehr guten Sprecherin.

I don't want to tell much more about the content but give you more of a feeling what listened to these books was like. The narrator Caitlin Kelly did an amazing job! Her voices for Cardan and Madoc 🔥♥️ just wow!

Sword fights and banter are my drug. And there where many scenes that made my knees buckle. But I choosed three more quotes:

>"It really is a magical word: no. You say whatever bullshit you want, and I just say no." - Jude

>"But i am going to take out her stitches, and I dont think youd want to watch that." "Oh I dont know," I say. "Maybe he'd like to hear me scream." "I would," Cardan says, standing."And perhaps one day I will." On his way out, his hand goes to my hair. A light touch, barely there, and then gone.

>“Well, even if the serpent bites off your head,” says Tatterfell, “the rest of you will still look good.” “That's the spirit,” I tell her.”

So many words in this books are so well chosen, so exactly fitting, I want to applaud the author.

Amazing narrator!

I love to read books with character development. This book - or rather the whole triology - excels in this. While there are moments, I came to hate the main character for sheer stupidity, for her lack of trust and her lust for power, there were far more precious moments when she overcame these and learned from them. Still, I have to admit, I liked the character of Caedan most. Not for his of beauty or nonchalance, but for his wickedness, his word games and his intellect. A plain cruel fairy king is easily written. And an all charming one is probably dull. But to write one with flaws in the manner done here, and polishing him over time to a diamond, is rare art.

I‘m a big fan of Holly Black...just wow! Every damn second of this audiobook was thrilling and not predictable at all. In addition, Caitlin Kelly has an extremly pleasant voice
