The narrator did the best she could but I truly didn't feel any chemistry between the characters. The enemies to lovers was suddenly just *there* (the becoming lovers part that is) but it feels like I missed when or why exactly that happened emotionally and I still wasn't feeling it until the very end. Very sorry, but I can't recommend.

The world-building was lacking, and the story was sometimes confusing. I'm still not entirely sure what actually happened. Also, for my taste, there were too many intense scenes (if you've read it, you'll know what I mean). I'll give it 2 stars because I feel like it had potential but was just poorly executed.
