Just Sounds Terrible

Some of these older Audible records sound as taken from an old Schellack recording directly into a 60's cassette recorder... such a great book!!

Clearly one of the best Science Fiction stories

Outstanding Story, great reader. I love rather dystopic stories and to read about sociological questions of the future. Stephenson delivers on both ends. You should not miss this one!

a computer fairy tale

.. is a very rough summary - at first I was a bit disappointed - after Cryptonomicon, this seemed to a kids' story, very different - however, it is fun once you get into it. The only slight complaint is that in part 2 there are a few glitches with the recording having gone wrong - or maybe it was just my download. Let's see ..
