My bib has over 900 audiobooks in the area of fantasy, science fiction and litRPG. That for the background so you can understand the meaning when I say this is the worst series i have ever listened to. I forced myself through book 1 in the hope that 2 would get better. No if anything it got worse.

The concept of the story is already flawed from the get go and lazy writing makes it worse the further you go. Different scenes are basically not connected. The all mighty company has no power at all. Humanity has starships that are ftl capable but none of the go to earth (because it os to far from the colonies).
Just a very bad product in any way.
