This short book is interesting and worth listening to. Good narrator, believable story, nice twists.

Interesting

The narrator does a super dull job, intoning each sentence in the same way, drawing out the last word. The story is mid-tier Reynolds, not that compelling but just interesting enough to wade through.

Lackluster narration

The story is alright, but the narrator is the worst I have ever heard in any audiobook. Her voice is not bad, but every sentence sounds exactly the same. She stretches the ending of every sentence, the same way, and speaks unnaturally clearly. It sounds like she's making one of those CDs for schoolkids learning another language. If this wasn't just 4 hours long, I'd have stopped listening and skipped this Reynolds book after about 5 minutes.

It’s not the strongest of Reynolds stories, but fine for some idle time. The was it was read terrible though. Very monotonous and almost annoying to listen to
