I stumbled over the book by lucky accident. The world building is great and I really like the how casual everyone acts. In a city full of extraterrestrial citizens, the public service is still doing their best and singing karaoke.

As any of Scalzi's work, this was a delight to listen to. My only complaint is that it finished too quickly. I hope we get another novella with Ashley's stories.

Eine wirklich schöne und unterhaltsame Kurzgeschichte mit einer grandiosen Sprecherin. Ich habe mich gleich auf die Suche nach mehr begeben, das von ihr vertont wurde. Ansonsten einfach eine klassische Scalzi Geschichte: witzig, spannend, neu, clever - Scalzi eben.

Beim hören habe ich mich immer wieder an Folgen aus Futurama erinnert. Insbesondere die Alien Sex Shop Szene erinnerte mich irgendwo an die Folge mit dem "menschlichen Horn"...

Fazit: es lohnt sich, zugreifen!
