From the opening chapter, this audiobook grabs your attention with its delightfully erratic storyline and never really lets go. It’s has some big unexpected twists, self-absorbed characters, and scenes that often verge on nonsensical. Yet somehow, it all works. The frenetic energy of the plot perfectly mirrors the eccentricity of the main character, making for an unusually compelling listening experience.

The characters are unapologetically selfish, which makes them feel larger-than-life—and surprisingly entertaining. Their interactions spark humor and tension in equal measure, driving the narrative’s unpredictable course. Even when the plot veers off in unexpected directions, the audiobook’s lively performance keeps everything cohesive enough to remain engaging.

The narrator’s delivery is a true highlight: energetic, enthusiastic, and confident—exactly what a story this wild needs. The performance style amplifies the disjointed nature of the story in a way that feels purposeful rather than sloppy.
