Ich hatte mir zuerst die deutsche Version gekauft, war jedoch schon nach einem halben Kapitel enttäuscht von der Übersetzung, obwohl der Sprecher sehr gut ist. Das englische Original, gelesen von Will Wheaton, ist um Lääängen besser! Spannend geschrieben und dennoch sehr einfach zu verstehen. Ich bin begeistert und kann dieses Buch nur empfehlen!

Having loooved the movie i qickly found out it's a book adaptation and was thrilled! I never came around reading it so the audiobook was my solution.

Will Wheaton did not disappoint, I actually enjoyed listening to him and cannot understand the negativity towards him.
About the book though... the movie was action filled, fast paced and fun and while I totally get that the book version would have been nothing like that I found it rather disappointing to find out that everything I loved about the film was not part of the original story... it's still a good story and I somewhat enjoyed it, but it was not what I expected.

Born in the beginning of the seventies, proud owner of a Commodore VIC20 in the early 80s, role player and Lucas&Spielberg fan, I really really enjoyed every single line of the book. Although sone passages are verbally Copy&Pasze, e. g. from Zork. ;-)
