Containing the usual twists and surprises, the story is captivating, and physically adequate. I especially enjoyed Wil Wheaton.

A great story with well-thought-out characters. The first book already feel huge and I can’t wait to listen to the 2nd one.
Will Wheaton is such a great reader. He brings the whole thing to life.

Scalzi is a very interesting writer. The books are so different. In my humble opinion, his style improves, no 'he said,... She said...' it's however less and less action driven and rather a long developing plot with much intrigue. But I very much like it.
Wil Wheaton is amazing, very versatile, very convincing, never annoying.
