Würden Sie The Dispatcher noch mal anhören? Warum?

Zachary Quinto liest überragend. Er haucht den Charakteren Leben ein und macht es einem unmöglich, sich dem Bann der Geschichte zu entziehen. Einziges Manko: Die Geschichte ist zu kurz! Quinto formt Scalzis Protagonisten zu einem Freund, und die Prämisse der Geschichte gibt bestimmt noch eine Menge Stoff her. Ich will mehr!!!

The premise of this book is bonkers, but Scalzi doesn't disappoint! The story is engrossing from the get-go. I quickly listened to the other stories of this series.

I found this book by chance, and the story seemed to be original (which is hard to find nowadays), so decided to give it a try. The Plot is cohesive, and the story flows nicely. The book is not that long, so it won't take much time to finish it.

Eine schöne Kurzgeschichte - und damit vermutlich ein Problem für Audible, denn 10 Euro hätte ich für zwei Stunden nicht bezahlt. Aber als Dauer-Abo-"Bonus" sehr willkommen und motivierend, das Abo laufen zu lassen.

As with any other Scalzi work, the story is engaging, packed with action and a world with intriguing differences, but also very human feelings. The performance is also outstanding.
