Very good humor, pretty straight forward. I like it a lot and can only recommend it. If you like complicated settings you might dislike it for me this is gold. The speaker does a good job in giving live to the characters.

Brilliant

Very different from Taylor's other works and not really my taste. It's not necessarily bad and the snarky parts were definitely fun but I enjoyed his more serious works far more.

It's more of a lighthearted adventure story with more action and less world building. It has its moments but overall there's just too much handwaving and goofyness for me personally. The heavy reliance on conspiracy theories and fake news to explain away all kinds of events struck me as kind of cheap and a bit derogatory towards the reader and the rest of the world really. I get the idea and that it's part of the goofy alien setting but it's such a serious topic that it struck a bit of a nerve with me. I'm looking forward to the continuations of his other book series.

As usual, Ray Porter is great to listen to. Probably my favorite performer. The occasional cuts in the recording and subsequent shifts in voice quality were a bit annoying though.

The story is well written and fun. Easy to get into and follow.

Gute Story, typisch Taylor

Ich hab mich sehr amüsiert beim hören dieses Buches. Klasse gelesen und die Geschichte ist witzig. Man sollte halt immer bedenken, dass die Protagonisten jung sind und daher auch viel Dummheit mit dazu kommt beim Entscheidungen treffen. Daumen hoch von mir.

Wer die Bobbyverse-Serie und / oder Expeditionary Force kennt, wird über grundsätzlich vertraute "Bausteine" in der Geschichte stolpern. Das mindert den Spaß beim Hören keineswegs. Und das Ende dieser Geschichte klingt eher nach dem Anfang einer Serie; aber warum auch nicht - einen zweiten Teil würde ich definitiv kaufen :)

Ray Porter is just as awesome as Denis Taylor. The only complaint is that Denis takes so long to write the next book. IT guys just can't deliver on time.

I waited half a year before buying this ebook hoping that this is enough for the next book to come out of that Denis-Ray connection. I ran out of alternatives, but its probably time to revist Bob or outlander until hopefully some more is coming.

I wondered what makes this so addictive. I think its that i would like to spend my life with friends like Denis ' characters and Ray's impersonations. Smart funny people with a sense of decency.

Cant make a mistake buying a book written by Denis or read by Ray.

I liked the Bobbyverse books and also the Skippy series. Roadkill is somewhat similar and had some nice own ideas too!
