Roadkill by Dennis E. Taylor is an action-packed sci-fi adventure that kept me on the edge of my seat for the full duration of the audiobook.
With an imaginative plot, lovable characters, and exceptional writing, this book is a must-read for any sci-fi fan.
The audiobook narration is top-notch (as always with Ray Porter, really), and I finished it in less than a day. Highly recommend!

Auch wenn das Buch nicht an Bobiverse heranreicht ist es doch eine gute und unterhaltsame Geschichte. Es hat die selbe Leichtigkeit und ebenso witzige Momente, ohne eine platte Parodie von etwas zu sein.
Der englische Sprecher ist brilliant, insbesondere als Sheldon.

I just love it ... gorgeous
Why? Well ... , 1st DET comes to the story right away, no long yadda dadda, right into the story; characteristic dialogs between the three main protagonists, 2nd Ray Porter is THE reader to bring the stories of DET to live, not just reading but acting, I can see him jumping between the three mics for the three main characters, he doesn't read ... he lives the story. Great.

Ray Porter is just as awesome as Denis Taylor. The only complaint is that Denis takes so long to write the next book. IT guys just can't deliver on time.

I waited half a year before buying this ebook hoping that this is enough for the next book to come out of that Denis-Ray connection. I ran out of alternatives, but its probably time to revist Bob or outlander until hopefully some more is coming.

I wondered what makes this so addictive. I think its that i would like to spend my life with friends like Denis ' characters and Ray's impersonations. Smart funny people with a sense of decency.

Cant make a mistake buying a book written by Denis or read by Ray.

Dennis E. Taylor's sardonic and geeky sense of humor combined with Ray Porter's hilariously expressive delivery make for pure comedic brilliance. Within seconds of the beginning I was laughing out loud, undoubtedly looking like a fool to the other passengers on my bus.

Fun, easy listening and overall very entertaining. This was my "First Contact" with Dennis E. Taylor and I will listen to more of his books. Especially when narrated by Ray Porter. I find him amazing.

its not as flushed out a story as Bobiverse, but its a very enjoyable read/listen.

The worldbuilding was nice, the characters solve problems with wits, not violence.
