It dives quite a bit deeper into the cultivation aspect, showcasing pills, talismans, cultivation techniques, artifacts and inheritance grounds.
While it might not be for everyone and still holds back a lot in terms of action, it still is a great story, with a smart main character and a narrator I really enjoy listening to.
Slow, but great

This story’s progression is slower than a snail with a lot of unnecessary situation inputs.
Sense of time is also screwed sometimes.
You don’t fight overwhelmingly strong in a battle and take minutes per foe.
The narrator is generally really good, but when 2 people observe someone from a roof and whisper, they don’t yell at each other…
He is trying to bring over emotions so much, that you start to feel he has no situational awareness.
Sadly it feels even worse, because one of the main chars in this books is insufferably annoying in connection.
