Believable account addressing the complexity of perceived love

The first person narrator invites us to follow her complex (and not always pretty) inner thoughts when pursuing an affair she cannot help herself but to live through. Not only have I never read anything I thought so honestly describing a situation that happens in similar ways millions of times everywhere. In addition, I was amazed how well the implications of growing up with parents who are not true in their lives, were woven into the story.
