i try the first part without spoilers,
the story itself might be a good thing, but there is too much detailwork, too much of the same.
too many noninteresting facts, and missing the interesting parts, like ..who cares if dude X from guild Y in game Z is famous.
focus on the game..story,book. (whichever fits most)
2nd part with spoilers, careful.
1. if the main, tells the listener , that she needs 600 drops, with a droprate 1/10,its a grind, if its in the starterzone, then its a failed game. most reader can count, and notice thats extreme, not even a darn chinese grinder has that much to grind in a starterzone. and the worst part, you have to listen to this for 80 minutes.. (maybe even more)
2. if the AI tells her to choose,and she asks how many? then give her a damn answer, thats what a user demands,or it will get problems if its limited on 25. since she said something like "choose whatever you want" ..meaning, everything.. typical human behavior
3.if she takes the hermit,and explaines, i dont wanne group,and stuff. then dont chitchat like a cinnamon bun and ask for friendship with the 2nd guy she comes across. sorry,thats so .. against her own meaning.
4. people have ticks, ok.. but why chewing jewelery.. thats not only disgusting and quite irritating,it makes a character much less liked then the usual girl.
there is more iam sure, but after listening about 3 hours in,from what 80 minutes bunnygrind, i stoped there, i prefer her other series (touch of power)way too much, to keep this series running.
if you listen to this one,because of touch of power... sorry,its far too differend, and not tasty (as someone/thing would say)
