Unbelievable
On par with my favourites such as Joe Abercrombie, Anthony Ryan and the like. Still mesmerised, and looking forward to being enveloped by the rest of the series.

Uninspired.
An uninspired assassin grapples with guilt after killing an innocent child and embarks on a journey of redemption as an apathetic ranger. This story is characterized by shallow characters, a bland world setting, and a lack of originality. The book's length is exacerbated by the overabundance of fight scenes and hunts, which are described in excruciating detail. Even the voice actor sounds bored. And no, it's nothing like Joe Abercrombie. Sorry, but that comparison is rather bizarre.
