I'm only at chapter 5 so I might update the review when I'm done. Still, the story already feels like I'm listening to a different version of Eragon with elements from other fantasy worlds mixed in.

I absolutely loved this book and the included novella "The Fall".
Intricate magic system, lore, action and lovable characters. The pacing of the plot was great and enjoyed the writing story. It was very digest able without being confusing.

Absolutely recommend reading the novella because it's even better than the novel.

Amazing start to a great new epic fantasy series. And also phenomenal narration of the audiobook.

This audiobook is a fantastic read! Ryan Cahill write an epic fantasy story that has everything the heart desires in it! Even dragons 💕 And the speaker manages to let all the characters come to life.
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook production and can not recommend listening to it enough!

Excellent high fantasy! I would put it between Eragon and Game of Thrones. Also a bit of Robin Hobb but not as depressing. Loved it! Only one point off because the writer uses some modern words like „ok“ often and that took me out of the fantasy a bit.

Hier hör/lliest man kaum etwas, das nicht viele Autoren nicht schon (besser) gemacht hätten. Ein bisschen Rad der Zeit, ein bisschen Drachenlanze, Game of Thrones, LotR, .... Geeignet für Leute, die nicht überrascht werden wollen und keinen hohen Anspruch an Prosa haben. Positiv hervorzuheben: der Sprecher. Nervig: die penetrante Verwendung des Kunstwortes, das sich der Autor für die Rolle der Hauptfigur ausgedacht hat.
