Eine wunderbare Welt und erschreckend gut vorausgesehen. Gänsehautfeeling und immer wieder Bewunderung für den Autor.

one of the best stories ever! You won't regret listening to this, it is visionary and exciting!
narrator: at first I really didn't like the narrator at all. his voice is good, but the way he handles intonation and emphasis really bothered me. in many occasions he seemed to wash away over really important sentences while pausing in other spots. over the long course of the book I did get more used to this and it did not annoy me any more, but the problem remains, albeit less prominent. I must give him a lot of credit for the impersonation of the numerous main characters of the story though. He did a really good job at creating different voices of old and young and even including the different local accents, be it Australian, african, US, UK etc. In this aspect he was really good.

Mir gefallen Geschichten innerhalb von Geschichten innerhalb von..... Habe mich auf die anderen Rezensionen verlassen und bin bei Vol 1 nicht enttäuscht worden. Der Sprecher mit seinen unendlich vielen Stimmlagen kann einen hervorragend "mitnehmen". Ich habe mich ausdrücklich für die engl. Version entschieden und freue mich auf Vol 2.
